1. Email your family and close friends first – Before emailing your entire address book target your most generous supporters first. People tend to match the amounts already listed on the page
2. Change your work email signature – After your name and title etc. add a line at the bottom including the address of your web page to maximise your sponsorship potential.
3. Be persistent – Try resending your page’s link one week before the event to gain last minute sponsors. Then send it a final time once you have completed the event – it’s never too late.
